There are many paths and trails which run right through the estate. Attractive destinations nearby include:

The Katzenbuckel: from the estate’s own hill, view the Schussental and the Lake Constance region.

The Schwarzach and Burgholz-Alznach forest. Take an interesting hike through this hilly, forested area of the estate. The Schwarzach is an exciting place for the kids to explore.

Egelsee Nature Reserve with endangered animals (approx. 1.5 km from the estate).

The Oberhofener Pond (approx. 1 km from the estate). Swimming in the summer and skating in the winter.

The Knellesberger Höhe (approx. 1.5 km from the estate) and Ravensburger Spieleland: a beautiful view of the whole Lake Constance area awaits you at the top of the Knellesberger Hoehe. From there, you can continue on to the Hops Museum in Tettnang or to the Ravensburger Spieleland theme park (which takes about 20 minutes by foot).
